Rambling about Paris, Catherine Popesco, creator and owner of the international jewelry company La Vie Parisienne, discovered a treasure trove of stampings – many over 200 years old in the old factories and workshops of Paris. Most of these gems were originally designed by celebrated artists and shining lights of their era, such as Lalique, Mucha, Galle and Picasso. Ms. Popesco is a Paris native and the leading force in reviving the elegance and grace of France's golden Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras. Handmade jewelry manufactured at Au Bout de Reves, a workshop Catherine built in the heart of the Loire Valley, France, each piece is rendered from original molds and stamping, hand set with Swaroski Austrian Crystals and enameled by her team of highly skilled artisans.
